Just  what is your idea of success on the internet?

Is it making $10,000 a month? Maybe $5,000?
make money

I would make a reasonable goal of my business being self-supporting.

Then include  advertising costs, business tools and  time consuming editing.
It is hard work making a business successful on or off the internet.

Are you set up for success? Using the same picture everywhere you go ?
Only you should be in the picture.

If you think you take a bad picture, back up a bit.Use only the face and upper body.Have a friend take several shots before you decide.Post the best one and delete the others. Use http://shrinkpictures.com and name them smaller, then smallest.

Also use the same user I.D.,whenever you can. I use Foxybird. If it is taken,I use foxybird123

Do not use those places for gossip.Invite business potential friend's ,close relatives and people you have things in common with for best social experiences.

Avoid joining a scam. How do you tell if it is a scam ?
A scam promises you close to 100% profits on your money. They pay only for getting them new members, there is no customer support from a sponsor or administration.

Many new businesses are not scams. They just do not have enough financial backing, not enough skills to run a business, have just one product or a few, demand too high a monthly fee and other unrealistic goals.

Reading those contracts helps out too.You usually are not told who the President is or his email,
who is on the board, told you will loose your best people if they get a promotion and pass you up.

Picking an honest business-more than 8 years old.
I want to see the President"s face.
